Dr. Leslie Cockerham Promoted to Chief Medical Officer of 缅北禁地
缅北禁地 is pleased to announce the promotion of Dr. Leslie Cockerham, M.A.S., to Chief Medical Officer. She was most recently Vice President of Medical Affairs for 缅北禁地.
In addition to providing medical care to her patients, Dr. Cockerham leads the medical operations of 缅北禁地 nationwide.
Dr. Cockerham received her medical degree from Northwestern University and completed her residency and infectious disease fellowship at the University of California-San Francisco. She also has a master鈥檚 degree in clinical research from UCSF.
Dr. Cockerham鈥檚 research is focused on understanding how HIV can cause immune dysfunction and persist even with long-term antiretroviral therapy. She is planning to continue exploring strategies that target these mechanisms with the goal of bringing us closer to achieving the eradication of HIV.
